RightLoad 1.0 Beta 2
« on: December 04, 2007, 08:47:41 PM »
This version does not contain any important changes, it just fixes some bugs. Installation recommended for users of 1.0 Beta 1.

Changes:
* Changed server/folder icons to the default windows icons
* Added more logging to make debugging easier
* Passive mode is now set to enabled for all new servers
* Fixed: Explorer crashes caused by context menu extension
* Fixed: Wrong speed shown when resuming upload
* Fixed: Possible crash when upload is stopped
* Fixed: Transfer type can now be set in main window
* Fixed: Some smaller bugs

Download here: RightLoad_Setup_1.0_beta_2.exe

If you find any bugs or have any suggestions, please let me know!

And if you like RightLoad, feel free to donate. ;)

I forgot to mention the non-accurate upload speed after resuming.
I'm glad you fixed it.

Hi

I've installed the new beta 4 manually, because your automatic update routine give an
error, if i quit the programm and the update begins:

Translated to english:
The NTVDM CPU has an invalid command detected.
Schliessen == Close
Ignorieren == Ignore

My machine:
WindowsXP SP2 with all updates, 1024 MB Ram, Pentium 4 with 2,8 GHz

With the new beta 4 I've tried to upload via right click a file to the server
and stops the transfer during uploading. Error:

you wrote:

Sorry, not fixed at the moment:
Try to upload a file not from c:\, d:\, e:\, x:\ etc. directly
Test your upload with files for example in c:\folder1\folder2\folder3\example.gif , stops the transfer
during upload to reproduce the error.

Log files are not created (both logging options are activated)

Hope, your understand me.

Kind Regards, Stoebi

Hi

I've installed the new beta 4 manually, because your automatic update routine give an
error, if i quit the programm and the update begins:
I am very sorry for this problem, the automatic updater was not supposed to update to beta 4 already. I accidentally uploaded a file that had not yet been fully tested.

I fixed the updater a few minutes ago, so the file should be downloaded correctly now.

With the new beta 4 I've tried to upload via right click a file to the server
and stops the transfer during uploading. Error:

Before I can work on this problem, it would be great if you could download and install beta 4 again, since the version you downloaded was not the final version. There might have been a few bugs in the "old" beta 4 since it wasn't supposed to be released yet.

Log files are not created (both logging options are activated)
Where did you look for them? In Beta 4, the log files will be created in your temporary RightLoad directory which you can find under Help -> Open Temp Directory.
