Proxy for Rightload?
« on: April 22, 2009, 05:42:39 PM »
Good day,

I love RightLoad, it is great, thank you!

Is there any support for proxy - in particular SOCKS v5?

Or any work around / hack that can be made? for instance I can lunch any program via a program "SocksCap v2" and it will send all net data via it self and thus via a configured proxy;
(but Rightload doesn't seem to work via SocksCap, since it looks like to lunch a separate instance each time or so and thus it is not lunching via SocksCap)

Maybe some other work around / hack?

Maybe it's on the todo list to add to a future release?

Thank you...

Hello,

There is a good chance that this will be added in a future release, but not right now. Does the program you mentioned work if you don't use the right-click menu, so if you just start Rightload, add the files from the menu and click Upload?

hi I hope this feature will be added as soon as possible :)

If I lunch Rightload using SocksCap - it is able to connect to the server, but the actual upload is always at 0% - perhaps it starts some second process or child process or so... and it doesn't fall under SocksCap...

Please enable Upload Debugging and Logging and send me the results:

Rightload creates a separate thread to upload the file, but I don't think that should cause problems.
