Title: Downloading and editing?
Post by: hippiman on August 03, 2007, 05:10:25 PM
Is it possible to add a way to download files, and edit them, kind of like the way FireFTP does(for FireFox)?

In FireFTP, it lets you pick a program to edit certain types of files, and when you edit it, it saves it in a temp directory, and you can save it and upload it as many times as you want. It's kind of hard to explain, but if you try it, you'll get what I mean.  Also, in the windowed part, you could have it so you could download, rename, or delete files and directories.

I know it's a lot to add, but I think it would be worth it.

I don't think this would make sense as a feature for RightLoad, because it is pretty different from the things you would normally use the program for. I might write another small program for this in the future though, since this is something I could use as well.
