Thanks Nils,

I've tried with 1.5 and it seems to work fine. We have also had some server side changes so I don't know what actually caused that.

Thanks again,
Joel

Thanks Nils, I'll try that.
You think it might also be an upload size limit on the server side? It seems like it stopped every 200-300MB.

Thanks,
Joel

Trying to upload 3*1GB files, upload stuck in the middle of the first file, gave me an error message, closed the program and tried again successfully using the 'resume' button. Is there a way for the program to try to reconnect by itself when got disconnected?

Thanks,
Joel

I forgot to mention the non-accurate upload speed after resuming.
I'm glad you fixed it.

Hi Nils,

I am trying the new version (1.0). Stop and resume works fine.
It looks great so far! I'll let you know how the whole process went.

Thanks,
Joel

Great!

Nils, does this version enables stop and resume?
If not, would you consider doing that?

Again, great application,
Joel

Problem solved.

Once I specified a directory access for a user, when using an FTP program there is no need to indicate the specific directory. When trying to log in I was redirected to the folder I have access to.
So, for example, if I only have access permission to a folder named:"images", I only have to provide the main URL: "www.myserver.com", and I'll be redirected to the folder I have access permission to. In my case:"images".

Thanks,
Joel

Nils,

It's not you. It didn't work on a different FTP program (Filezilla) as well. I'm talking with my server's tech team regarding that issue. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks,
Joel

P.S:

If your program could stop and resume uploads it would be the perfect FTP program...

- The default directory I've tried was: images/johns_photos
 - I'll give it a shot with another FTP program and I'll let you know....

Thanks,
Joel

I am the owner of the server. I've created a user that is only allowed into a specific directory (www.myserver.com/images/johns_photos). I can access that folder with my admin username and password, but couldn't do that with that user.

Should I fill in the host name: www.myserver.com and in the directories: images/johns_photos
              or
host name:www.myserver.com/images and in the directories: johns_photos?

Thanks,
Joel
