Rightload - Official Forums / Access permmision to a specific folder
« on: November 06, 2007, 05:46:51 PM »
How do you usually access the folder? (with a normal FTP program)
Could you enable logging and send me your log.txt via e-mail?

Right now I'm busy rewriting the program, but after I'm done I might have some time to look into this a bit longer.

Rightload - Official Forums / FTP != URL address
« on: October 19, 2007, 09:12:12 PM »
Just change the URL mask of the server. In your case, it would probably have to look something like this: 'http://my-domain.org$dir$file'. You can use the preview button to see what the generated URLs would be.

Since the actual registering of the file is done by the installer, I don't have any control over it. I will try to find out what might be causing this, but it looks like it might be a bug in either the installer software or Windows.

About the bug when connecting to a server:
Did the error message mention something like "Cannot draw on canvas"? If it did, this should be fixed in the next version.

Rightload - Official Forums / Downloading and editing?
« on: August 24, 2007, 11:40:27 AM »
I don't think this would make sense as a feature for RightLoad, because it is pretty different from the things you would normally use the program for. I might write another small program for this in the future though, since this is something I could use as well.

Rightload - Official Forums / Feature Request: show url at once

Right now, this would be rather complicated to do, so I don't think it will make it into the next version. Sorry.

About RightLoad
RightLoad is a small program that allows you to quickly upload files directly from a Windows folder to your server. Instead of using a complicated FTP client just to upload a few pictures, you just right-click on the files, select the server and target folder and RightLoad will do the rest for you. When all files have been uploaded, RightLoad will automatically generate a list of different links to the files, ready to be copied into your post or website.

Features
* Uploads files or whole folders to any directory on your server with one click
* Automatically creates thumbnails for pictures
* Adds [url], [img], or tags to the links
* Auto-renames existing files and creates missing directories

Rightload - Official Forums / Feature Request: Sub Directories
« on: May 22, 2007, 09:41:15 PM »
Thanks for you ideas! Something like this is actually pretty much what I had in mind. I'll try to add it in a future version.

Rightload - Official Forums / Feature Request: Sub Directories
« on: May 20, 2007, 11:48:12 PM »
You can add subdirectories by adding a directory like 'rootfolder/subfolder/another_subfolder'. For example, if you want to upload files to a directory 'camera', which is a subdirectory of 'images', you would add a directory 'images/camera'.

I think that there should be a more intuitive way to do this, though.

Rightload - Official Forums / Windows Vista
« on: March 31, 2007, 12:34:55 AM »
Unfortunately I don't have a copy of Vista here, so I can't test how RightLoad behaves under Vista. From your description it seems like it has problems finding the path of the executable and configuration file, but I don't see why moving to Vista would cause such a problem (unless they did some major changes to the registry I'm not aware of).

You might want to check out the beta for 0.9, it should at least give you some sort of error message if there are problems:

I don't understand what you mean by the title (handle languages), but in answer to your questions:

1) Bug:
That's a bit strange, but the link should work anyway. I will look into it for the next version.

2) Prefix:
You can do that already by editing the URL mask. In your example, it should read 'http://eproust.free.fr$dir$file'.
