RightLoad 0.9 BETA 2
« on: July 29, 2007, 06:27:32 PM »
This is the beta for the latest version of RightLoad. I tested most of the basic functions, but there might still be some bugs. Use at your own risk. :)

Changelog since 0.8:
* New: Can rename new file instead of existing one
* New: Option to set thumbnail naming scheme
* New: Option to set thumbnail quality
* New: Option to copy all links to clipboard when AutoClose is enabled
* New: Config file can now be saved in the AppData directory to improve security and allow multiple users to use different configurations
* Changed: New installer
* Changed: Options screen rewritten
* Changed: Improved memory usage
* Fixed: Main window would lock up during upload
* Fixed: Server list editing issues
* Fixed: Various bugs and possible problems

Download RightLoad 0.9 Beta 2

About RightLoad
RightLoad is a small program that allows you to quickly upload files directly from a Windows folder to your server. Instead of using a complicated FTP client just to upload a few pictures, you just right-click on the files, select the server and target folder and RightLoad will do the rest for you. When all files have been uploaded, RightLoad will automatically generate a list of different links to the files, ready to be copied into your post or website.

Features
* Uploads files or whole folders to any directory on your server with one click
* Automatically creates thumbnails for pictures
* Adds [url], [img], or tags to the links
* Auto-renames existing files and creates missing directories

hi nz,

First of all thank you for this cool app. For this new version can you make it add thumbnail url that it created to the list so we just can copy the url.

Another thing, can you make stand-alone zip version.

Thanks

When you select a link tag (either or [url]) as the output tag, the list entry for a picture with thumbnail will look like this:

You should be able to just copy that and get a thumbnail that's linked to the full image.

If you need a stand-alone version, just take the file "RightLoad.exe" from the installation directory. The other files aren't really required for RightLoad to work, so you should be able to run it somewhere else without any problems.

Thanks, I had to unpack it because im too lazy to install & uninstall just to get the files -.-"

Another thing is I prefer to have config file in the same folder instead of app data folder. Can you make it optional..

Thanks.

There should be a setting during the installation whether you want to save the config file in appdata or in the normal directory.

Great!

Nils, does this version enables stop and resume?
If not, would you consider doing that?

Again, great application,
Joel

What version of Windows are you using? Did you check if the 'add to context menu' setting is enabled?

It doesn't but 1.0 will, which should come out soon. This version is from July and there have been a lot of changes since then.
